Meet Your Teacher
Richardt is a keen observer of nature and has been drawing since a very tender age of 5 years old. His passion for painting/drawing got momentous with time, his talent grew and his skills sharpened through self study into the arts. Richardt had the privilege of being born into an artistic family and is a third generation artist. Presently he is living his dream of being a full time artist and has over 20 years experience running his own art school.
He has taken part in prestigious art festivals such as Innibos, the Rosebank Roof Top Market and he is currently a member of Artists Under the Sun where he was a committee member for 3 years as well as serving as part of their selection panel.
Richardt's main inspiration comes from nature and he is captivated by the beauty and biodiversity of South Africa and the surrounding regions.
